I am Louie Hall, and LHall Solutions is me — one person in Essex, working across Essex and London.
I did not come to this through an agency. I taught myself to build websites and software while working in print and signage, and the first tools I made were for the business I was standing in: the production board nobody could see unless they were in front of it, the quotes done from memory. For the last few years I have been doing the same for other small businesses — a lettings agent, a youth football club, a building-services firm.
Outside of client work I am usually building something anyway — a screen on the wall, a gadget that did not need automating, a side project that will probably become a tool for somebody.
How I work
- A fixed quote, in writing, before anything starts. Not hourly. A deposit books the work in, and two rounds of revisions are included.
- Something working early. You see a real, clickable version while it is still cheap to change, not a finished thing at the end.
- You own it. The code, the domain, the data. If you want me to keep looking after it, there is a monthly plan; if not, you can walk away with everything.
- Accessible and private by default. Every site is checked against WCAG contrast rules, fonts are self-hosted so visitor data does not go to Google, and I only add the analytics a business actually needs.
