  1. 01 · The problem

    What was wrong

    A signage company that sells screens had no way to manage what was on them.

  2. 02 · What I built

    The fix

    An admin dashboard, a separate screen-facing player app, and Android and Raspberry Pi player builds, all sharing one monorepo and one UK-hosted database.

  3. 03 · How it works

    The parts that matter

    • Six-digit pairing — a screen shows a code, you type it into the dashboard, they are linked.
    • Realtime content push to every paired screen.
    • The player keeps playing offline from cache if the connection drops.
    • Supabase in London (eu-west-2) for UK data residency.
    • GDPR built in from day one: export, erasure and rectification endpoints, a consent banner, and a written compliance record.
